Mindfulness for Compassion Online Workshop Would you like to feel calmer and able to navigate life's challenges with more ease, resilience and peace of mind? Meaningful connection to ourselves and others is proven to improve our overall wellbeing. A consistent mindfulness practice can be a useful tool to help you develop compassion, and research shows that this has significant benefits for your physical and mental health. Using mindfulness to cultivate compassion is a skill, and modern psychology shows us that skills can be learned. This workshop will teach you these skills in an empowering, supportive and nourishing environment. Workshop Format: Sunday 1st October from 2pm - 4.30pm in a supportive and friendly group setting Who is this course for? Anyone curious about mindfulness and learning tools to be kind to yourself, increase resilience and improve the quality of your life. What will you gain from attending? Understanding and learning how to use compassion to gain greater awareness, insight, openness, curiosity and make wiser choices; Practical and sustainable tools to develop compassion to help you stay in the present moment, and take actions aligned to your intentions and values; The courage and compassion to show up and work through challenging emotions; A sense of perspective; Letting go of others expectations and increased self-acceptance ; A chance to reconnect with yourself; and A sense of community.
